“Working with Serena Joy is …well a joy! As an outreach coordinator, I am always looking for new and engaging ways to reach my audiences, and Serena Joy does just that! Before working with Serena Joy, I had never heard of social-emotional learning but once she explained how she mixed that concept with poetry and crafting, I knew that our program was going to be a success. Even though Ms. Joy had not done a virtual program in the manner we requested before, she was able to effortlessly transfer the lessons and the fun to a virtual space. The kids were having such a blast, that even I had to jump in a game of Simon Says and protect my dream balloon along with them!
